3268 - Pirongia

There are a hundred things we could do on Pirongia and I'd like to do some tracks we haven't done for a while.

I will investigate going up the Bell track from Kaniwhaniwha to the Central Clearing Campsite (as marked on the Topo50), then use an old track no longer marked on the Topo down the Otungaoko stream to the Ōpārau River. 

 

This will need a driver and van if the plan works.
