3248 - Mt Karangahake

We will be doing a loop, firstly traversing Scotsman Gully and then up a 4WD track, then we turn off to summit MT Karangahake.

Once we have reached the top we will come down and wind around the back of the mountain to come down the Karangahake walkway. On the way down there are views of the gully. At the top it has one of the best views of the Waikato and up towards Waihi. Elevation 552m and will take approximately 5hrs.
