3144 Rotorua Redwoods Cycle Trip

There are a number of beginner and easier grade trails that are accessible from the main entry points at Rotorua Mountain Bike carpark at Waipa, the Te Puke o Tawa carpark.

These trails are a great introduction to riding in the forest if you are new to biking or want to ride with a group at a cruiser pace that suits everyone:

Grade 1 & 2 Trails - Waipa / Rotorua city side

KIDS LOOP / BALL & CHAIN / PUARENGA / MOKOPUNA / TAHI / CREEK TRACK / THE DIPPER / HEMO GORGE TRAIL / LION TRAIL / THE WASH / VERRY SAFE TRAIL / CHESTNUT LINK / SWEET & SOUR / YELLOW BRICK ROAD

You can either BYO bike or hire a bike (pedal power or ebike). 'Mountain Bike Rotorua' is the best place for hiring bikes as they are situated at the Waipa State Mill Road main entrance. There is also a really good cafe for afterwards! 

We will meet at the carpark at 9am and aim to have about 3-4 hours of riding.
