The Waikato Ski Club Lodge is a purpose built ski lodge that offers club accommodation for members and guests, ideally located on the Whakapapa Skifield about 15 mins from The Top of the Bruce. This fantastic location means that it is very easy to ski in and out from any ski run on the mountain (except Happy Valley).
You will enjoy being part of a club atmosphere and meeting people with similar interests to yourselves. The lounge has a log fire and warm couches to meet and mingle, with fabulous views through the windows or from the decking..jpg)
The kitchen is modern and fully equipped with a lot of different cooking options.
Dinner/lunch is self catered, breakfast is porridge for ski club members and tea/coffee/etc is provided for all people who stay at the Lodge.
You can move into the kitchen at any time to organise and cook your food and eat at the large communal dining table.

Bunkrooms provide shared, yet quite private accommodation. There are 12 single and 10 double beds in 3 sleeping rooms and they are warm, cosy and comfortable.
A ski room for repairs, drying room with efficient heating, ski storage lockers, boot locker room will ensure your skiing gear is stored, dry and ready to use again.
Walking up to the Lodge generally takes about 15-20 minutes depending on age and fitness of the group. The route is quite sheltered and you pass a number of other lodges on the way up. .jpg)
The Ski Lodge has internet facilities, but no public computer. Guests are welcome to take and use their own laptop computer. For a small fee, internet can be accessed.
Waikato Ski lodge has a custodian on duty during the winter to assist you with your stay. Please feel free to phone them if you are concerned about finding your way. They will arrange for someone to meet you. Friends of members are welcome to stay or become members.
The club welcomes new members and we look forward to seeing you!
