2015 Mid Winter Christmas
An awesome weekend on the 6-7 June saw us celebrate Christmas at the Lodge. Loads of fun had by all and we woke to snow! Have a look at our facebook album.
New Signage - 2014
Our new signage went up this month and it looks great.

2014 Season Wardens
The 2014 Ski Season has started and we welcome Graham and Chris Bilyard, this seasons hut wardens. They are both keen skiers and are a very knowledgable in the running of ski lodges, having had many years experience on the mountain. They are happy to assist you in any way they can.
Winter Firewood - February 2014
The winter firewood supply was delivered by helicopter and carried up to the lodge by a wonderful team of helpers.
Thanks to these enthusiastic folks (now much fitter!) we will be warm and cosy this winter.

King Family Lounge
The King family have made an enormous contribution to the Waikato Hut (aka Waikato Mountain Lodge) over 3 generations and to celebrate this the Lodge lounge has been named the "King Family Lounge" (ref: July 2012). Last weekend, 16th November 2013, a plaque was presented to the three King children - Russell, Graeme and Christine - on a club trip to the Lodge.
